| Hunters from the'09 season enjoyed some awesome success. Bait and hound hunters enjoyed over 95% success rate.We had several bear taken over 400lbs and many more over 300lbs. We had another booner taken and some dandy bear over 19 inches. Can't guarantee anything for 2010, but all indicators look good. | |||||

| Black bear hunts over bait are for 7 days,all inclusive.Hound hunts are for 5 days all inclusive. Hunters are encouraged to contact us prior to applying for any tag or season date. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due upon arrival. No refund on deposits. Bear Hunting behind the Hounds If you are looking for a fast-paced, unpredictable and completely action packed experience, you will find all this and more on the trail of a bear behind the hounds. The sound of the hounds in pursuit will echo through the woods raising your adrenaline because at the end of the trail, you will come face to face with perhaps a bruin of record proportions...don't laugh, it's happened before...check out our photo albums!This hunt can be physically demanding, some early conditioning is recommended. Bear Hunting over Bait As soon as our season allows, Wild Spirit Guide Service is busy in the woods all over the Upper Peninsula to provide our bait hunting clients with the perfect locations to bag the bear of their dreams. Bait hunting for bear will allow a hunter the opportunity to take in the sights smells and sounds of our beautiful forests and wildlife of all kinds. Pre-baited tree-stands, are placed well in advance and baited regularly to accomodate archery or firearm.There are multiple bait locations for each hunter. | Heres a challenge for even the most extreme thrill seeker.Try a hawiian hound hunt for a monster russian in the wilds of upper michigans dense ceder swamps.You will pursue a boar behind the hounds through some of the most challenging cover you have ever seen.At some point the dogs will bring the hog to a tight bay or even catch it.That is when we take the window of opportunity to slide in and deliver the finishing blow from a properly placed blade behind the shoulder.This is an extremely dangerous and physical hunt.Please consider this well before booking.You will be placing yourself and our staff in a HIGH risk situation and must be willing to see it to the end.It is an experience you will never forget when you come face to face with the beast on his terms with only a knife,a pack of roaring hounds and your courage.There is no firearm for back up.Can you do it?Come and try.

| Bobcat hunts are reserved for the winter outdoor enthusiast who are looking for a real adventure. Hiking the frozen U.P. outback on snowshoes ,following the sound of the chase and taking in the sight of the hounds circling close on the heels of the elusive Michigan bobcat will be sure to offer great photo opportunities and a great experience you won't ever forget.This hunt can be very physical and may require a good deal of walking in thick cover, hunters should get some pre-hunt conditioning.Hunts are January 1st- March 1st

| Try experiencing upper michigan while its under the blanket of the winter wonderland.You will travel by snow machine or atv to baited stands for the up predators.Primarily coyotes, but a good chance at fox or even a bobcat.These are heated stands that are baited for weeks before your arrival to ensure the best chance for success.Bring your own calling equipment and even gain more of an advantage.These are very remote locations and just the winter experience is worth the trip.Lodging and transportation included. | |||||

| All whitetail hunts are conducted on private agriculture land for 5 days of hunt, hunters are welcome to use our camp.Stands are placed in travel routes or by feeding areas months before season begins to give hunters that extra edge.Our hunting area is located in Menominee county and has the highest deer densities in upper michigan.We also have a 2 deer limit for anterlerless animals.Hunters are able to harvest two bucks per year in this area also. | |||||
